San Ignacio de Loyola University has academic curricula which include several courses of Social Responsibility Education for different careers in our University. This has been done in order to give our future professionals a great sense of Social Responsibility and the right tools to manage and implement projects which promote the social development of our country.
Magisterial Conference of Minister of Environment Dr. Antonio Brack Egg
Among the activities to promote and create consciousness about environmental care, the Green Brigade and the Social Responsibility Department at USIL, as part of its commitment with the development of our society, organized the Magisterial Conference: “Social Responsibility and the Environment”, which was given by the new Minister of Environment Dr.Antonio Brack Egg.
San Ignacio de Loyola University was honored with his visit and it was the first opportunity the Minister had to talk to the University and Business community about the guidelines of the new environment policy of Peru and his relation with business social responsibility. We were very pleased with his visit because it was an opportunity to achieve important promotion and coverage of his message and the actions he will take to protect our environment. “Peruvian people must Project our Earth and our trees by promoting reforestation in order to contribute to control the increase of carbon in our planet which is and issue that affects everybody with no exceptions”, said Dr. Antonio Brack.
The event was honored by the visit of the San Ignacio de Loyola University founder chairman Raúl Diez Canseco Terry; the USIL Chancellor Lourdes Flores Nano, the Vice Academic Chancellor Edmundo Del Águila Morote and the Deans of Programs of this educative institution. Also important politicians, USIL students and important Peruvian entrepreneurs attended the event.
