Students spend their time on the USIL campus either studying or participating in the different academic, cultural and sports events organized by the university. Foreign students are welcome, as these activities form an important part of the learning and socialization process during the USIL experience.

Sports and Entertainment
USIL has a Sports Department which is in charge of organizing, developing and supervising sports and recreational activities in the university. It promotes the participation of students in such team sports as: female and male basketball, football, female and male “futsal”, swimming, female and male volleyball, athletics, chess, bowling, judo, jiu jitsu, tae kwon do and modern dance. Students participate in these intramural activities, as well as external competitions and league competitions organized by the Liga Metropolitana de Futsal, Liga Mixta de Basquetbol and Liga de Voleibol de La Molina.

Sports Facilities
USIL has a coliseum and specially designed areas for sports located on the Main Campus in La Molina. Additionally, there is an open-air sports center in the village of Huachipa, with 25,000 sq. meters, including a mini soccer field and recreational areas.

Inter-School games / FESTIUSIL
Each year the university organizes the Inter-School games, an event that brings together students from all departments at USIL. Students participate and compete in different sports and activities organized by the Sports Department. When the competition finishes, there is a party organized by FESTIUSIL. It is a closing party in which the winners from the different Schools are given an award and are recognized as the best sportsmen and sportswomen, and then they have a lot of fun, a day full of games and music provided by top local bands.

Activities at Department level
Apart from the activities organized by the university, each department organizes different events that promote the participation of its students and contribute to their personal and professional development. Among these activities, you can enjoy the Dia de la Facultad (The “Department’s” Day), an event that brings together students and graduates of each of the programs to fraternize and participate in sports and fun activities. There are also talks, seminars, presentations, conferences, trips and other activities.

USIL’s Choir
The university has a choir made up of students. Occasionally, USIL’s Choir is invited to participate in different events organized by the university, as well as to cultural and artistic events that take place off campus.

Chapel
The Chapel offers religious support to all university students, providing a knowledge of faith as well as helping students deal with issues of faith and a personal encounter with God.
