Entrepreneurs training entrepreneurs
As the founding president of the San Ignacio de Loyola Education Corporation, I am very pleased with our institution’s achievements as we approach our 50th anniversary. Today, the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola educational model has crossed borders and is known on every continent, thanks to the performance of our graduates and to academic and work-related exchanges in which USIL students have participated under, 220 plus agreements we have with universities and institutions throughout the world.
Upon its founding, USIL entered the Peruvian education market, breaking with traditional teaching methods and innovating with an educational model focused on shaping entrepreneurial, bilingual professionals with a global perspective and a strong sense of social responsibility, who will become leaders in the sustainable development of Peru.
Now the world sees us as an avant-garde university that fosters excellence, social responsibility and the entrepreneurial spirit. A sign of that is that our academic programs have been accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS), the largest national accreditation organization in the United States. Also, in November 2014, we became the first Peruvian educational institution to receive LEED Silver certification for our classroom buildings designed according to standards of quality that ensure the use of adequate technology to protect the environment.
With these recognitions and achievements, we renew our commitment to consolidate USIL as an institution of excellence in teaching, research and global entrepreneurship, in order to provide the best education possible to the over 20 thousand students who have placed their trust in usWith these recognitions and achievements, we renew our commitment to consolidate USIL as an institution of excellence in teaching, research and global entrepreneurship, in order to provide the best education possible to the over 20 thousand students who have placed their trust in us.
