With great success, USIL participates in NAFSA, the world’s largest international education fair

With great success, Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola wrapped up its participation in the NAFSA 2017 Annual Conference & Expo held from May 28 through June 2 in Los Angeles, California, with the participation of over 1500 universities from different countries.

USIL founder and chairman of the board Raúl Diez Canseco Terry expressed his gratitude for all the support received from NAFSA organizers, as well as from the Peruvian Embassy in the United States, through the consul general and the commercial attaché.

“We’ve had a wonderful experience here and we’re taking away a lesson. We understand that next year we must intensify our efforts to sell Peru, because in order to bring students to the country, we have to show them we have a safe, beautiful country worth visiting and investing in. Therefore, next year—the year of our 50th anniversary–we’ll return with a different, innovative, visionary image,” commented Raúl Diez Canseco Terry.

Here we share this video of our founder and chairman of the board of directors, Raúl Diez Canseco Terry, about USIL’s participation in NAFSA, as well as our participation in the voyage of the BAP Unión training ship, acting as a university ambassador of the best Peru has to offer. The ship will arrive in the city of Boston on June 15.
