Student Welfare

The Student Welfare department is in charge of tuition categorization, scholarships and social support. We provide students support in order to contribute to their academic success, with special emphasis on those who have a high level of academic performance. In addition, we hold wellness programs that contribute to our university community’s welfare.

 

> Recategorization
Geared toward students in category B, C, D, and E or in A provisional, whose financial problems affect their ability to make their tuition payments. The process is carried out twice a year on the dates indicated on the Academic Calendar. The classification assigned is valid for one semester and enters into effect starting in the semester following the one in which a request is processed.

 

> Scholarships
A means of support and stimulus for students with a high level of academic performance whose financial problems affect their ability to pay their tuition and/or living expenses. The process is carried out twice a year on the dates indicated on the Academic Calendar. A scholarship enters into effect with the second payment for the period following the one in which the scholarship granting process takes place. Different types of scholarships are granted: scholarships based on grades and socioeconomic situation, scholarships based on socioeconomic situation, and scholarships for students who have lost a parent.
