LaLiga partners with San Ignacio de Loyola University to organize sports training courses

LaLiga – Professional Football League of Spain – has partnered with San Ignacio de Loyola University (USIL) to organize and offer sports training courses in Perú. For this new association, both parties have signed a collaboration agreement.

As part of this agreement, LaLiga and USIL will jointly develop different sports training programs, covering areas such as sports management, marketing, finance, leadership, technology, and innovation.

Based on industry success factors, these programs will offer students an understanding of the global context of the sports sector with an emphasis on business and investment opportunities.

"We are very happy to have the opportunity to share LaLiga's experience in Perú. This agreement reaffirms our organization's commitment to professionalize the sports sector and, in line with our slogan, "It's not soccer, it's LaLiga," positions us at the forefront of the industry, not only in terms of sports but also in educational standards," commented José Moya, director of LaLiga Business School.

The sports industry continues to boom worldwide, offering a wealth of opportunities to the different areas of this business. This partnership will help promote access to quality education in sports management.

"At USIL we believe that sports are basic as a tool for social, educational, and value transformation. Therefore, we seek to be a pioneer and reference center at the national and international level for continuous improvement in sports education," said Juan Carlos Mathews, general director of the USIL Graduate School.

"This agreement is an essential step to achieve our objective and places us as the first and only institution in Perú with which LaLiga has signed such an educational agreement," he added.

The signing of this agreement reflects the commitment of both institutions to improve the development and growth of the sports industry in Perú.
