Center for Entrepreneurship

The objective of the Universidad San Ignacio de Loyola Center for Entrepreneurship (CEUSIL) is for students to pursue a business career along with their studies.

In order to achieve this objective, CEUSIL fosters entrepreneurship through different lines of action with which it shapes opportunity-based entrepreneurs.

Lines of action:
Fostering the Entrepreneurial Spirit: Consists of organizing activities to promote entrepreneurship in the USIL community, such as conferences, contests and workshops, whose purpose is to raise awareness and train USIL students and faculty.

Some of these activities are:

  • Global event: World Entrepreneurship Week
  • Contests: Innovative Business Ideas and Business Plans
  • Award: Entrepreneur of the Year
  • Participation in national and international external contests

These activities are held with support from the CEUSIL Entrepreneurs’ Club.

Business Pre-incubation: Consists of shaping entrepreneurs who are able to start sustainable businesses, with access to networks of business contacts. For this purpose, students opt for a concentration in Entrepreneurship, in which business opportunities are identified.

These students undergo a process that includes the formulation of a business plan, validation of the plan, legalization and development of a business management plan, in order to guarantee the startup of operations of a new business.

Business Incubation: Consists of helping entrepreneurial winners of the USIL Startups contest to strengthen their companies so that they can offer innovative products and services with high technological content and good prospects in international markets.
